"I would like to say how impressed I was with my order. Most of the bulbs/rhizomes were impressively large and you even sent extra plants. The packaging was perfect; no bends or breaks. I planted them at once and they have taken off like gang busters!"

HYDRANGEA p. 'Grandiflora'

A Paradise Garden Five Star Shrub

Also known as 'Pee Gee', this hydrangea is an old time favorite with big white blooms which fade to pink. Train into a tree or grow as a shrub. Ideal for cutting and drying. We ship larger plants than most leading mailorder nurseries. Ours are two year old plants in one gallon containers. We will begin shipping these in May.

'Pee Gee' is one of my favorites. A strong and fast grower, producing many blooms even while still quite small. My 'Pee Gee' has survived being cut to the ground by an ice storm. In the spring following the storm the bush sprouted new growth and bloomed its heart out in the late summer giving me the largest blooms I have ever had. I've made many wreaths using the blossoms from my 'Pee Gee'! The dried flowers retain their lovely pink and white coloration for years to come.

The Pee Gee hydrangea is an easy, long-lived, reliable shrub/tree that is extremely useful as a structural element in the garden. The lovely panicles of white flowers turn bronze in the fall, and are often seen made up into wreaths in expensive garden shoppes.

My Pee Gee is in tree form and has HUGE, elongated Hydrangea flower bunches which start out a beautiful, clean white. They gradually fade to a lovely soft dusty rose. Truly a "must have" Hydrangea - especially if you have a bright spot in your garden for a unique tree form.
