This plant is very dependable. A bad hail storm hit our area hard last year, leaving many trees and plants in a very bad shape. The worst thing was it happened when my Hana Kisoi opened its first bloom, and the flower, buds and leaves were gone overnight. However, it did not show any sign of stress this season and still growed and bloomed with robustness .

Very lovely large blooms, hold up well in weather and form interesting pods. Strong plant came back after deer attack.
