Received my order (28 Oct 11) and planted it, thanks to detailed instructions. I was VERY impressed with the packaging/shipping-the peony rootball was wrapped in straw and a plastic bag, then boxed. There was NO DAMAGE to the roots, and no soil at all on them-clean as a whistle! I expect when it blooms, I'll be the envy of the neighborhood!

I planted this peony last fall and it has 10 stupendously beautiful blooms right now. Just the clearest, brightest hot pink I've seen on a peony. No staking, no maintenance, barely adequate care -- and it's a jewel in the garden.

Ordered this plant on a hope and a prayer that it would even grow in Texas. You rarely, if ever, see peonies in my area. I was prepared just to try to make it live long enough to bloom. I figured three years wait. I couldn't believe it when it produced a bud in late Feb and bloomed in March. The plant was not even a foot tall when the beautiful bloom appeared. I can't wait to see what happens in the years to come

I ordered ~6 different peonies, and paula fay is my very favorite, the color is spectacular--I cut it and bring it in to work and everyone raves about it (I tell them your website!). This is my 3rd year and I got 20 blooms. It is next to "triple blue" or "triple delight" clematis, a deep blue/purple, and the 2 colors are awesome together. Added bonus of no staking, I call this the perfect plant!

Grows wonderfully. Doesn't need staking and is quite care free. Mine is planted in full sun and in somewhat dry soil. Since its flowers are semi-double, they tend to remain upright.

Don't plant this next to any delicate blush peonies...it will steal the show. I have it in front of the antique shrub/climbing gallica rose 'Complicata'. The colors match exactly and Paula's dark green foliage provides an excellent background. No staking required, it is a fast grower for a peony.
