"I would like to say how impressed I was with my order. Most of the bulbs/rhizomes were impressively large and you even sent extra plants. The packaging was perfect; no bends or breaks. I planted them at once and they have taken off like gang busters!"

PAUL'S GLORY

A Paradise Garden Five Star Hosta

Beautiful yellow centered sieboldiana. Voted Hosta of the Year for 1999 by the American Hosta Growers Association. The heart shaped leaves have a blue margin and are nicely puckered when mature. Grows 17" high and 26" wide. Leaves are 7" long by 5" wide. They emerge a golden yellow, then later in the season, turn a parchment white with an irregular blue-green margin. Lavender flowers arise in midsummer on 24" scapes.

We ship exceptionally large and fresh bare root hosta. Sometimes in the heat of late summer, the tops of these are clipped off. This promotes new growth. Shipments begin in late March and run throughout the season until late October.

This is a tough one, resistant to sun and slug damage alike. You will not regret adding it to the garden especially if you like the puckering aspect of its leaves.

My all time favorite hosta. Dramatic color change from spring to fall but gorgeous in every season. Has never burned with sun from 4:00pm on. Rapid low grower, spreads and creates a magical ground cover for my giant blue, un-named cultivar.

This one is a real beauty!Forms a nice clump. In four years of growing it I've never seen any spring burn. Emerges a week or so later than many others in spring.

When this hosta forms a mature clump it is definitely a glorious sight! This is one of those wonderful oldies but goodies in the garden landscape and if you are looking for a specimen hosta this is the one to choose.

Gorgeous Hosta!! And vigorous too. This one stands out in your garden. Makes a nice accent planting.

One of my favorites. Paul's Glory is better than the highly touted Inniswood for contrast, substance and form. It's also a faster grower.
