A sport of 'White Christmas', 'Night Before Christmas' is often reffered to as the best white-centered hosta. This wonderful hosta has deep green leaves with a white streak down the center. The white center fades to light green in mid to late summer.
We ship exceptionally large and fresh bare root hosta. Sometimes in the heat of late summer, the tops of these are clipped off. This promotes new growth. Shipments begin in late March and run throughout the season until late October.

H. 'Night Before Christmas' is the reverse of H. 'Christmas Tree' and has an interesting white center-leaf pattern that goes more green as the season progresses. Try pairing the two hostas for an interesting look in the landscape.

Very attractive addition to the Hosta collection in very deep shade. The creammy white center really greets you.

Our house is shaded by large Sycamore trees so this hosta is always true to color. It really is a beautiful contrast with all the Parkys Gold and Blue Danube. As you can tell we love our Hostas, I made a new Hosta bed last year under two large Maple trees. I keep the moisture correct with soaker hoses and mulch.

Always tricky in my shade garden. If you can get it to make it through the hot humid summer then it's o.k. I have lost some to those conditions but it will have the beautiful contrast of colors on the leaves until then.

Very nice in the spring and early summer with excellent contrast between the center and the margin. What a shame that the centers of the leaves darken once summer gets going.
