A very beautiful and popular variety-selected as the 2001 Hosta of the Year. The leaves are a rich, powdery gold with a noarrow blue edge. The light center will bleach to creamy-white in bright ligh but stay yellow-gold in deep shade. Great substance and beauty. Grows 30-inches wide and 12-inches high. Lavender flowers appear on 20-inch scapes.
We ship exceptionally large and fresh bare root hosta. Sometimes in the heat of late summer, the tops of these are clipped off. This promotes new growth. Shipments begin in late March and run throughout the season until late October.

This hosta keeps spreading and getting bigger all the time. In 3 years I have gotten 4 more hostas of nice size by dividing. GOOD ONE!

A very tough resistant variety that I grow in full sun. No slug problems with this one. Bright contrast brightens up areas next to dark shrubs. Grow it.

This hosta has become a favorite. I have several growing in various light conditions. One in full shade maintains the varigation in the leaves but is a beautiful blue green blend. I have also been successful growing on the west side of my home with 2 to 3 hours of mid-day sun (none after 3 PM). In this location the leaves show a much bigger contrast. My shade June grows very slowly; the partial sun June grows vigorously and divides well.

In my opinion, there is not a more beautiful hosta out there than June. The leaves are have a creamy gold center and are edged in a beautiful blue/green color. The plant has a very nice structue as well...very neat and compact. Truely beautiful!

Of all the hostas I've grown and added to my garden, June is tops on my list of favorites. Beautiful color, habit and flowers. Since my first June hosta 2 years ago, I've added at least 10 more to my gardens since then. Wonderful with blues, given some extra light. Even in the shadiest garden spots, this one does very well for me.

Well worth the price, this is a beautiful hosta. The variations in color are wonderful. Looks great in a woodland garden.
