"I would like to say how impressed I was with my order. Most of the bulbs/rhizomes were impressively large and you even sent extra plants. The packaging was perfect; no bends or breaks. I planted them at once and they have taken off like gang busters!"

BLUE ANGEL

A Paradise Garden Five Star Hosta

This is the best large hosta we grow. Has huge blue leaves with wonderful substance, which stays healthy and fresh looking all summer long. A beautiful specimen plant. Seems to be faster growing than most of the sieboldiana hybrids. It also seems to get larger than most. Will grow 3 feet tall by 5 to 6 feet wide. Slug resistant. Awards-Best Blue Leaf Award-1994, Best Blue Hosta in a Garden-2000 & 2001, Best Green Hosta in a Garden-1991.

We ship exceptionally large and fresh bare root hosta. Sometimes in the heat of late summer, the tops of these are clipped off. This promotes new growth. Shipments begin in late March and run throughout the season until late October.

What a fantastic hosta. Slugs don't bother it, and it grows before your eyes. If you need a big hosta to fill a space with beautiful blue color, this is the one to get.

If you want a big hosta, this is it. I have this one planted in a nice shady area with just a little dappled sun in the morning. It gets bigger and bigger each year. The large leaves give a nice exotic look!

This is a very nice looking plant, and very healthy when it arrived. My mother gave me a Hosta she gave me from a local nursery and the roots were a compacted mess. The Hosta that I goot from Paradise Garden looked like it was dug from the garden yesterday, it was very healthy.

One of the finest large blues, I gave it some Greensand and Alfafa meal and it has out grown the space I gave it two years ago.

My Blue Angel's leaves measure 13 and 1/2 inches wide! It's beautiful and huge! I put crushed egg shells around it as soon as it peeps through the soil,to keep the snails away. It works, and the large leaves quickly hide the shells form sight! I love the blooms that are yet to come this season. There's always something to look forward to with this plant!

I have had this Hosta for about 4 years on the north side of my shed and it is almost 4 foot wide and about 3 foot tall. It gets bigger and more blue every year. It's absolutely wonderful!
