A Paradise Garden Five Star Grass

Uniform, upright clumps of gracefully arching, deep green foliage erupt into soft rose-purple plumes from early summer until frost. Enjoy its subtle straw color in the winter. This grass will be a focal point wherever it's planted, but is especially beautiful when the plumes are backlit by the early morning or late afternoon sun. Its compact habit makes it indispensable for small gardens and containers. It is also quick to establish in the landscape and is quite drought tolerant. Does not like “wet feet".

This plant is considered deer resistant.

Planted Karley Rose early fall last year and it bloomed before winter arrived! Gorgeous color - Deep purple/magenta ...A great alternative to Purple Fountain Grass for colder climates. Sprouted back up in early May and had blooms by the end of May. So...It is absolutely my favorite garden specimen! Blooms nonstop from May til Frost in Colorado. Great w/daylilies or anything else for that matter. Wish I had room for more...very low maintenance, too!
