Although our garden is generously endowed with yellow and gold daylilies, I bought this one based on the very good price (and since I always welcome another beautiful gold..reminds me of sunshine), and it has richly rewarded us with so many eyecatching buds. Many, many blooms. How can you fault a plant that is that perfect?

For true golden yellow daylilies, this one is a wonderful choice. The blooms are very large and the clump is also large. Give it room to grow and a place to show off. The gold is darker and clearer than 'Mary Todd', but the substance of the flowers is similar in texture. A clump of this in your garden will catch many eyes.
