"I would like to say how impressed I was with my order. Most of the bulbs/rhizomes were impressively large and you even sent extra plants. The packaging was perfect; no bends or breaks. I planted them at once and they have taken off like gang busters!"

"I received my order today - that was fast delivery! Thanks for the "extra" it looks lovely. The plants are very healthy and they are an impressive size."

The Stella De Oro plant is a very good plant especially for the price. I have a couple of these plants. I have them in full sun and in partial shade and they do great. I have never had any problems with this plant.

I have had only limited success with Stella. I planted quite a lot of this variety about five years ago, they have spread and give a nice first showing but there is no repeat performance. After the first bloom they go to seed and that is that. I am disappointed with them, after all the hype I expected much better results and wonder whether I would have more success with Happy Returns? Anyone please?

It's the most commonly planted daylilly for a good reason. It blooms abundantly & grows vigorously everywhere I have planted it, sun, partial shade, dry, moist, near the house & far away. It is such a cheery color you can't help but smile. I have had scattered blooms on mine into October!

I bought stella after seeing it in a friends garden. I grouped it with a short salvia and the combo looks great! Stella is a terrific bloomer and I can't wait to get more!

A great garden staple. Perfect for a beginner to try. I found this little cutie to be a very useful plant to have. Because she reblooms, I have her tucked in with my other daylilies to add some color when they are not in bloom. She is very well behaved and strong and grows well in sun or shade. I have tucked her in here and there all around my gardens. (The seedpods need to be deadheaded for a good rebloom.)

Stella puts on a fabulous show during first bloom - the number of golden flowers per plant is amazing. The blooms are highly visible from the street and people slow down to look at the display. My plants increase every year and require nothing from me. Rebloom is noticibly less, but still nice. Highly recommended as an impressive, easy first daylily.

I've found stella to be one of my favorites. I noticed others in my zone have had less than favorable reviews. which makes me wonder once again if my zone here in tenn. is numbered correctly.many times the descriptions for plant's zone hardiness does not seem to be relaiable.the climate here is much warmer than many other states listed in the same zone, such as Ma.
